Hello folks! IвЂ™m unfortunately not diving into any N64 games just yet, as IвЂ™ve yet to upgrade my Online Membership. Subscribe to Nintendo Life on YouTube Ollie Reynolds, reviewer IвЂ™m currently on case 5 (the last of the first game) and it is long, but as a chilled out bit of reading and light puzzle-solving the game is really doing the trick.Д®lsewhere I plan to play Moonglow Bay this weekend, as it looks utterly charming. You would've had all the basic elements, along with Fire, Water, Light and Dark.The long autumnal nights make this sadly middle-aged gamer rather weary after a day of вЂworkвЂ™, so IвЂ™ve been getting back into The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Then the Forest Temple could've been the Wind temple, or even Air temple. The Spirit temple could've been an Earth temple, what with all the desert sand. WHY IS IT CALLED THE SPIRIT TEMPLE?Д¬onclusion: Either it should've been called the Desert temple to match the Forest temple, or the Forest and Spirit temples should've both been given completely different names to match the elements. So the Spirit temple is, ironically, the only temple not dedicated to worshipping spirits. It probably wasn't used for worship at all, considering its 'secluded' location. Not much is said about the Light temple, so we can't draw any conclusions there. Both the Forest temple and the Shadow temple actually have spirits inside it. The other temples? Built to worship forest spirits, water spirits, fire spirits, spirits of the lingering dead. That's likely who they worshipped back when the temple was still in use. After all, the Spirit Temple is filled with statues of snakes and, most notably, several statues of a woman who appears to be half snake. It's a complete misnomer, especially when you consider that the Spirit temple seems to be the only temple that's actually dedicated to a deity. Zombie temple? Spirit temple is even more of an odd one out than Forest temple. What's the opposite of a Spirit temple? Unspiritual temple? Body temple?. Now, let's flip it around and look at it this way. They could've easily changed the Forest temple into something logical. It was removed far before such things as the Unicorn Fountain. No Sage of Sky was ever created, no real screenshots of the Sky Temple were released to my knowledge. What's important to remember, though, is that the Sky Temple was scrapped in a very early development process. But ooohhh, right, there was once a plan for a ' Sky temple', which would've probably included wind. Twilight Princess sorta pulls that off too. But why didn't they make it 'Wind temple'? That would've fit nicely in a forest. What kind of an element would 'forest' have? Honestly, I don't think there is one for forests specifically. I mean, the Water temple is located in a lake, so why isn't that place called Lake temple? Why isn't the Fire temple called Volcano temple? It's because ultimately, it's not the location that matters. To me, the title 'Forest temple' never made much sense to begin with. But then you might argue: What if the temples aren't supposed to be opposites? What if that's just a coincidence? Let's look at the greater picture, here. Now correct me if I'm wrong here, but wouldn't 'Desert temple' have been a far more fitting name? I mean, on the one hand you have a forest brimming with all sorts of life. So there's six temples scattered throughout Hyrule. It's something that hit me a while ago and now I'm finally going to put serious thought into this. Allow me to cast you into doubt over what is usually considered the best Zelda title ever.
